The Getty Peace Talks
Following the execution of Smiling Jack, the Camarilla agreed to meet with the leaders of the SoCal revolt. Nines Rodriguez and Therese Voerman represented the Anarch side during the talks, while the prince of San Franscico, Sara Anne Winder led the Camarilla side along with Prince Hellene Panhard of New York.
Negotiations began by discussing land division, but it became clear that neither side wanted to surrender any more land.
After three nights of discussions at the Getty Museum in LA, peace finally broke down. Each side accused the other of throwing the first punch, but the initial aggressor is unknown. What is known is that Nines Rodriguez died, along with Prince Winder, during the fight.
Not all was in vein though, as the Anarchs agreed to limit their violence to Los Angeles, and call Anarchs out of the remainder of the Southwestern United States. This agreement appeared to stand, despite the deaths, as Therese Voerman and Prince Panhard were bound by blood contract to this end.
The Getty talks included kindred skilled in diplomacy, subterfuge, bodyguards, and security-minded kindred.
