This was not the first time in recent memory that LA had riots. But it was an unusual phenomenon for Orange County and San Diego. Following a string of deaths, both Camarilla and Anarch, the streets began to crowd with kindred making noise. Too much noise, and the wrong kind. The riots had to be stopped, but the masquerade was also placed at issue.

Kindred society needed fighters to subdue rioters, masquerade fixers, diplomats, and those who could get the damage repaired. Several kindred stepped up.
